The emotional drama My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren't Wicked follows Miya Nakamura, the illegitimate daughter of a distinguished family. After her beloved mother tragically dies of an illness, Miya is brought into the Kounokura family's main household. Because of her status as a mistress's child, Miya braces herself for a life filled with scorn, cruelty, and abuse, preparing for the absolute worst. However, what she encounters inside the grand estate is completely unexpected. Instead of facing wicked relatives, Miya discovers a warm, loving, and supportive new family. This touching slice-of-life story beautifully subverts the classic evil stepfamily trope, offering a refreshing journey of healing, acceptance, and genuine familial love. As Miya slowly learns to let her guard down, she finally finds a true home and the happiness she has always deserved in the most unexpected place.
